No more price differences under new scheme

KUCHING: Effective today consumers in Sarawak will be able to purchase essential goods at standard prices as enjoyed by their counterparts in Peninsular Malaysia.

This is made possible with the enforcement of the Federal Government’s initiative to standardise the prices of 462 items, including sugar and wheat flour, throughout the country.
