Mukah MP brushes aside protests against possible renomination

MIRI: Mukah MP Datuk Seri Dr Muhammad Leo Toyad is unperturbed by protests this week calling on him to make way for a new face in the general election.

“This is a democratic country and I believe in the right for expression. I also know that I cannot please everyone but as long as I am still the MP of this area, I will continue to execute my responsibility to the constituents and party to my utmost ability,” he said to The Star yesterday.
