SOME 20,000 Penangites and tourists gasped in awe when a 15.5m-long ‘green serpent’ snaked its way through the crowd into the Snake Temple compound in Bayan Lepas for the inaugural Ban Ka Lan Snake Festival.
It is believed to be the first snake dance performance in the country.
