Missing husband finally calls

A CONTRACTOR who vanished more than a year ago, leaving his wife and two children in dire straits, has contacted his wife, three days after their plight was highlighted in various print media.

Lam Mun Yew, 52, called his wife Mak Lih Yi, 42, on Jan 30, telling her that he would resolve their financial issues, in exchange for the police report made on his disappearance to be retracted.
