Groups demand confirmation from DBKL that road will remain accessible

THE Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) of SRK (T) Vivekananda and the Little India Action Committee in Brickfields want written confirmation from Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) that Jalan Vivekananda will not be closed to make way for a proposed seven-storey carpark in the area.

They fear that the closure of the road, also known as Jalan Berhala, will inconvenience parents when they drop off their children at school and cause severe traffic congestion in the surrounding areas.
