GEORGE TOWN: The central court in the proposed National Badminton Academy in Bukit Kiara may be named after the late Datuk Eddy Choong for his vast contribution to the sport.
Youth and Sports Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Shabery Cheek said the ministry had received a few proposals on how best to honour badminton legend Choong, who passed away on Monday at a private hospital here due to intestinal bleeding.
