GEORGE TOWN: Police arrested a man who was alleged to have impersonated as a Welfare Department officer to solicit money from residents in Rifle Range, Air Itam here.
The 44-year-old man was going from unit to unit at G Block of Rifle Range when he approached Rifle Range Parti Cinta Malaysia (PCM) division chief Chew Ean Nar who was visiting her mother there.
