Cops: Deceased a bystander

MIRI: Police here have clarified that the death of a 22-year-old youth had nothing to do with a commotion on Jan 1 as reported by the local media.

Miri police chief ACP Mun Kock Keong told reporters yesterday that the deceased, Abdul Harris Zainal, was not involved in the incident and he was not assaulted by a group.
