WITH just four days before schools reopen on Jan 2, parents and their school-going children are rushing to several malls in Penang to pick out school uniforms and shoes.

Mother-of-three Tashkent Banu Abdul Jahari, 45, said she purchased school bags and stationery for her daughter and son.
