Illegal extensions and land encroachment

EARLIER this year, StarMetro highlighted the status of multiple housing areas in the Bandar Utama (BU) development which had constructed illegal extensions, some which had encroached onto reserve lands.

Committee members of the Bandar Utama Residents’ Association (Bura), had previously expressed their worry that these extensions would be a problem in the future when the authorities decide to widen the roads into the reserve land.
