Furore over land status

A GROUP of landowners in Sungai Buloh are furious over the state government’s directive to convert the status of their land from agriculture to industrial by the end of this month.

The 20-odd owners, who met up at the Subang MCA office in Kota Damansara, were also unhappy over the high assessment fees which they will have to pay once their land status was converted.
