Complaining constantly does not lead to happiness

I TRAVEL far and wide to deliver lectures and give talks. During the course of such lectures, I have come across countless people. Many have met me personally. I have met common people, brilliant people, successful and unsuccessful people, religious and non-religious people. In all such meetings, one common factor is non-stop complaining.

If people are asked to say a few words on their life, it will be lumps, bumps, what is missing, how they got hurt and by whom, and the unfairness of life. Only remarkably few people are grateful, feel they are lucky, feel ecstatic about what is happening in their lives.
