KUCHING: Twenty-nine illegal foreign workers were apprehended late Friday in an operation by personnel from the Immigration Department, Rela and Civil Defence Department.
A senior immigration officer, Ramli Saleh, said Ops Bersepadu lasted from 10pm until 7am, and the team first went to a popular open air dining spot in Jalan Bukit Mata where they checked all the workers and customers.
