Alleged rape by cops ‘an isolated case’


NIBONG TEBAL: The alleged involvement of three policemen in the rape of an Indonesian worker near Butterworth earlier this month, is seen by the force as an isolated incident.

Penang police chief DCP Datuk Abdul Rahim Hanafi said 5,817 police personnel were on duty in the state and the three alleged errant cops could be considered negligible by comparison.
