Star attraction: Popular northern region event & promotion executive Kelvin Koay Chin Lam arranging the books on the BookXmas Tree

WITH the idea of encouraging people to embrace the joy of reading, Popular Book Co (M) Sdn Bhd stacked up 2,500 books in the shape of a Christmas tree.

The unique 3m-tall structure, named BookXmas Tree, was put up at the lobby of Straits Quay in Penang in conjunction with the Popular Mega Book Fair, to be held from Nov 30 to Dec 9.
