DESPITE his house being located at a quiet spot with abundant fresh air near the exclusive Royal Perak Golf Club, Leong Khai Cheong never opens his doors or windows for natural ventilation.

If he leaves a window open, his house at Lorong Rani will be inundated with mosquitoes, which he attributes to the lack of maintenance of the drains surrounding his property.
