OBLONG burger (a larger than usual meat patty) is poised to be marketed and branded as the country’s next big food franchise, emulating the likes of Secret Recipe, Marrybrown and Nelson in making a name as one of Malaysia’s answers to McDonalds.
An oblong burger franchise is now being created with the cooperation of the government’s economic growth agency — The Northern Corridor Implementation Authority (NCIA) — and a Kedah-based company called Seleraku Trading Sdn Bhd (STSB).
