Appreciation function for parents a lively affair

Malacca: The Parent’s Appreciation Nite 2012, the third in the annual series organised by the AgapeCARE for the Elderly (ACE) under the purview of the AgapeCARE Society in conjunction with the International Day for the Elderly in October was a wholesale resounding and roaring success.

Held at the refurbished LTP Restoran in Pengkalan Rana, about 500 guests comprising ACE members, volunteers, caregivers, friends and supporters plus invited residents from the Prasana Home, Paya Ikan Old Folks’ Home, Amitabha Home and Harapan Villa, the three and a half hour occasion spelt serving of fine food, camaraderie enhanced with scores of new friendships made and old ones renewed.
