THE approach of the much-awaited Deepavali festival has prompted Brickfields residents to request for added security measures for the area during the festive period.
The issue was raised during a dialogue between Brickfields stakeholders, Brickfields OCPD Asst Comm Wan Abdul Bari Wan Abdul Khalid, Brickfields deputy OCPD Supt Aida Abdul Hamid and senior police officers recently.
