Clamping down on illegal gambling outlets

Confiscated: Some of the computer sets and gadgets seized by police during raids on two cyber cafes in Mentakab.

TEMERLOH: More gambling outlets operating in the guise of cyber cafes were closed down in Mentakab as police intensified operations to clamp down on the illegal activities.

A team led by Mentakab police station Chief Insp Rizal Mohd Dan raided two outlets in Taman Rimba and nabbed 19 people including caretakers and customers, aged between 20 and 40.
