Local flavour for The Smurfs

The children of Precious Children’s Home were treated to a full day of ‘Smurfy’ fun activities recently. This outreach, organised by HBO Asia with the support of Astro, was in conjunction with HBO Asia’s 20th anniversary celebrations and to mark the television premiere of The Smurfs on Hari Raya. The film is also available in Bahasa Malaysia, with voice over by popular local celebrities.

The children were treated to a series of activities at the roadshow at 1 Utama Shopping Centre, where they also met “The Smurfs” (mascots) and the celebrity voice talents of the movie, and were among the first to watch The Smurfs in Bahasa Malaysia at a private screening held at the GSC Cinema, 1 Utama.
