CIMB-PRINCIPAL Asset Management Bhd recently launched the CIMB Islamic Al-Azzam Equity Fund, a syariah-compliant equity fund that aims to achieve consistent capital growth over the medium- to long-term period.

It will invest in syariah-compliant companies listed on Bursa Malaysia. Fund managers believe that these companies will exhibit above-average growth potential relative to their industry peers.
