MIRI: Two siblings, a one-year-old girl and her four-year-old brother, were found to have been badly beaten up, allegedly by their stepfather, who is said to be the third husband of their mother.
The two sustained facial and bodily bruises and have been hospitalised after being rescued by a relative in the city’s outskirts after the police arrested the stepfather yesterday.
