Plaza beefs up security

IN the wake of a spate of crimes at car parks, a mall in Penang has beefed up its security with state-of-the-art CCTV system that incorporates image capturing integration.

The new system to be commissioned next month in Gurney Plaza will timestamp and take pictures of shoppers at the mall’s ticket entry and exit points. It also allows the swivel camera to spin 360 degrees.
