BORN in Sibu to a middle income family, Benny Zachariah is the first person to bring Dayak film, through Saloi the Movie, to the cinema.
With a Diploma in Business Management, Benny, 38, has so far directed/made I Love Sarawak (a short film for Astro Kirana a few years ago), Berubat Enggau Chara Homeophaty (a documen-tary) and Jalai-jalai 1Malaysia (the first Iban travel documentary) films.
