Never too late for bonus

AISHAH Din was so overjoyed to be remembered 30 years after leaving her contract job at the Community Development Department (Kemas) that she was almost in tears after receiving a one-off aid of RM3,000 from the Federal Government.

Aishah, 65, who taught at the Kemas skills training centre in Kepala Batas from 1964 to 1982 where she last earned RM4 per hour, described her experience as challenging but satisfying.
