BENTONG: Undergraduates are only paying about 30% of the total cost of their tertiary education in public universities while the balance is subsidised by the Government.
MCA deputy president Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai said undergraduates from poor family background could also apply for the higher education loan scheme (PTPTN) to pay for the fees.
