Train volunteers, cops urged

MEMBERS of Voluntary Patrol Schemes (SRS) should be trained by the police in order to equip themselves with the basics in self-defence so that they will be able to protect themselves during their rounds.

Paya Terubong Barisan Nasional coordinator Koh Wan Leong proposed that the police conduct a crash course for SRS members to ensure that they are well-trained to combat crime.
