Sibu: Syarikat Sesco Bhd (Sesco), in its effort to combat power theft, has been closely monitoring monthly electricity consumption patterns of factories here which, based on past statistics, are identified as “high risk” customers.
A spokesman from the state’s electricity company said that tampering of meter in factories contributed to significant revenue losses for Sesco every year.
