THE YEAR of the Water Dragon brought joy to 16 policemen who served during the Emergency as they each received special payment of RM3,000 for their service.
Among those who received their cheques from Deputy Home Minister Datuk Lee Chee Leong in a simple ceremony at the Rela Pasir Pinji Hall in Ipoh on Tuesday was Hamid Ngah Mat Taib.
