ERRANT motorcyclists can still be spotted wearing the half-shell or ‘tortoise’ helmets despite a government ban in 2008.
Penang Road Safety Department (JKJR) director S. Jegan said those still wearing the helmets risk losing an ear if they were involved in an accident.
