KUCHING: Five individuals found out the hard way that bribery does not pay after they were charged with “corruptly giving gratification” to government officials.
Four of the five committed traffic offences and pleaded guilty to an alternative charge, that of committing an offence under Section 214 of the Penal Code (Act 574).
