THE proposal to accelerate heritage tourism development in Taiping is recognition of the state government’s effort to promote the sector, said State Tourism Committee chairman Datuk Hamidah Osman.
“I was surprised by the announcement although I am very glad as it has always been the state’s intention to develop Taiping as a heritage site.
