THE Sewerage Services Department has been urged to engage the services of Kum-pulan Ikram Sdn Bhd to determine the causes of cracks on 54 houses in Taman Seri Rambai, Bukit Mertajam.
Penang MCA secretary Lau Cheik Tuan said the Ikram group was a professional and independent body, which has the expertise and the proper equipment to investigate the cracks.
