BUDGET 2012’s allocation of RM500mil for commercialisation of research products will help to produce more local brands, said Free Industrial Zone Penang Companies’ Association vice-president Heng Huck Lee (pic).
He said the allocation would spur more local small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to invest in research and development projects that had the potential to be commercialised.
