ART can be defined as the process of deliberately arranging items in a way that influences and affects one or more of the senses, emotions and intellect. Take raw material such as aluminium or metal, as examples. Separately they are merely chemical elements. But when spanners, motorcycle chains and objects found in a typical tool box are put together to form a goat sculpture, it is known as Brutalism.
