JAPANESE tyre maker Toyo Tire & Rubber Co Ltd will invest RM1.2bil over the next four years to expand its operations in Perak.
International Trade and Industry Minister Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamed said Toyo Tire, which bought over local tyre manufacturer Silverstone Bhd for RM462mil in October last year, also plans to increase its production by five folds from the present three million annually.
