New ashram taking shape

THE students of Arsha Vidya Nilayam (AVN) in Malaysia are a step closer to achieving their dream of setting up an ashram to propagate the teachings of their teacher, Guru Swami Dayananda Saraswati.

Thanks to the AVN Subang Jaya chapter, about RM42,000 was raised at a charity dinner held at the Kalamandabum in Brickfields. More than 350 people attended the dinner which had music and dance performances, and a lucky draw.
