RESIDENTS in several townships near Seremban need not worry about noise pollution following the government’s decision to relocate the Sungai Besi Air Force base to Bandar Sri Sendayan because the new facility will only house a helicopter squadron.
Negri Sembilan Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan said he had received queries from many quarters stating their concern over the relocation plan as noise from fighter jet engines would possibly pose health-related problems to the residents.
