KUCHING: The Sarawak Forest Department has been censured for giving a company the green light to extract and sell timber from a gazetted water catchment area in upper Penrissen near here.
Tourism Deputy Minister Datuk Dr James Dawos said the department was wrong in issuing a timber licence to a local company to extract and sell timber from an area in the upper reaches of Sarawak Kiri River.
