Safety first, says Sirim

KUCHING: Consumers should look out for safety labels when purchasing electrical goods and communication devices so as not to buy products that have not been certified as safe.

Sirim Bhd said that electrical items certified as safe would carry the EIU safety label while communication devices would have a Sirim safety label and serial number.
