For cleaner batik production

A switch is needed to shift batik small- and medium enterprises (SMEs) from unsustainable management and production towards efficient patterns of development, says Natural Resources and Environment Minister Datuk Seri Douglas Uggah Embas.

“Ninety per cent of the companies in the country are SMEs and batik manufacturing is a typical SME activity,” he said.
