SIBU: The Chinese community here will be grateful if Sibu SUPP chairman Datuk Seri Wong Soon Koh is appointed as the new deputy chief minister, said a former SUPP youth chief.
Anthony Teo, 74, who was at the helm of the party’s youth wing from 1976 to 1978, said as Wong had retained Bawang Assan in the just concluded state election, he had the right to represent SUPP in Barisan Nasional and also represent the Chinese community in the central region.
