PANASONIC Malaysia unveiled a brand new line-up of LUMIX digital cameras with 12 new models during a launch at the Sepang Gold Coast in Bagan Lalang.
The 10th anniversary models come with various cutting-edge features which carries an ideal imaging companion for everyone.
“It is our answer to the escalating demands of the digital camera market, complementing the lives of modern indfividuals,’’ said Panasonic Malaysia managing director Jeff WL Lee.
Stealing the limelight at the official launch was the LUMIX DMC-TZ20, which boasts a 14.1 megapixel sensor, ultra-wide angle Leica lens and 16x optical zoom and supports Full HD movie recording.
Also unveiled at the launch were eight new Panasonic Full HD and Standard Definition Camcoders for the 2011 line-up.
The camera is touch-operated and comes with GPS functionality to enable geo-tagging while on the go and complements the other LUMIX models launched in December last year.
Lee said since its inception, the LUMIX brand has brought many innovations to the world of digital imaging.
As official camera sponsor of the Miss Tourism International 2010 pageant, the winner Nathalie den Dekker of the Netherlands, who is also brand ambassador gave a product presentation of the 2011 line-up LUMIX cameras.
The 100-odd guests were also introduced to the various line-up of the LUMIX brand, through a launch gambit dance musical performance.
Lee, in his speech, also added that like in several international markest, the LUMIX has become a preferred choice in digital imaging here in Malaysia.
