Grease trap makers sought

GREASE trap manufacturers who are accredited by Standards and Industrial Research Institute of Malaysia (Sirim) Berhad, are encouraged to submit their proposals to the Penang Municipal Council (MPPP) on the costs involved in installing the devices at various eateries in Penang.

Council Public Health standing committee member alternate chairman Ong Ah Teong said the council planned to prepare a recommended list of grease trap manufacturers for operators in hawker sites, restaurants and shopping complexes.
