RESIDENTS of Kampung Baru Cina Batu 9 in Cheras, Kajang, who have been facing been facing flood woes can now rest easy as the Drainage and Irrigation Department (JPS) has started upgrading work in Sungai Sering.
Hulu Langat Drainage and Irrigation Department district head Mohd Nazri Yasmin said they had been given RM6.8mil allocation to carry out upgrading work at the confluence of Sungai Langat and Sungai Sering.
