CONTINUOUS rainfall for nearly five hours caused flash floods in several residential areas in Nibong Tebal, Penang.
Among the areas affected were Kampung Sungai Kechil, Kampung Besar, Simpang Ampat Tasek and parts of Jawi. The floodwaters rose up to 1m at some 60 houses.
