Spots still unsafe

THE Kedah Health Department has advised the public to avoid visiting the Puncak Janing and Lata Bayu recreation areas during the school holidays as the areas are still not safe of Leptospirosis (rat urine disease).

Both the recreation spots located in Padang Terap and in Baling were temporarily closed to the public since two deaths due to the disease were reported in early August.
