Some 175,000 Netbooks will be distributed under phase two

TELUPID: Some 175,000 netbooks will be distributed under phase two of the 1Malaysia Computer programme to achieve 50% Internet penetration by year end.

Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) director for Sabah and Labuan, Bukhari Yahya said the netbooks had earlier been distributed to students and people at 19 community broadband centres in Sabah under phase one.
