Remembering Kampar’s past

THERE is good reason to have a multi-million ringgit tin mining museum in Bandar Baru Kampar (BBK), Perak, to showcase how the industry had contributed to development in the country.

To begin with, the 20-year-old BBK, which also houses Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman’s main campus (Utar) and Kolej Tunku Abdul Rahman’s Perak campus (KTAR), sits on ex-mining land.
